ibitdrive Terms of Service

1. General

These Terms govern the use of the ibitdrive mobile app and related web panel (the “App”). The provider is a natural person offering the App as a private, non-business project (the “Provider”), contact: radfur00@gmail.com. The App is free, for personal, non-commercial use.

2. Definitions

• User — a person using the App.
• Account — the User’s data and settings, identified by email.
• User Content — data entered by the User (vehicles, photos, reports).

3. Nature of the service

A driver-assistance tool: dashboard, navigation, OBD readout, vehicle logbook, stats and community speed-camera info. It is a hobby project; the Provider does not guarantee continuity or uninterrupted availability.

4. Account and requirements

Some features require an Account (email + password). The User provides a valid email, protects credentials and does not share the Account. Use requires a compatible device, internet and — for some features — permissions (location, Bluetooth) and an OBD adapter.

5. Acceptable use

Unlawful use, infringing third-party rights or disrupting the service is prohibited, in particular: interfering with the code, unauthorised access, bulk automated scraping, and submitting unlawful or misleading content.

6. User Content and community reports

The User is responsible for their Content and is entitled to it. Community reports (e.g. speed cameras) are informational and approximate only; the Provider does not verify them. Content breaching these Terms or the law may be removed.

7. Road safety (IMPORTANT)

The driver must keep watching the road and comply with traffic rules. The App must not be used in a way that distracts from driving. All data (speed, navigation, speed cameras, OBD) is auxiliary and approximate and does not relieve the driver of the duty of care. The Provider is not liable for consequences of decisions based on App data (fines, collisions, damage).

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided “AS IS”, without warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for purpose. The Provider does not warrant GPS, OBD data, measurement timing or speed-camera timeliness. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for indirect damages or data loss. Liability that cannot be excluded by law (in particular towards consumers) is not excluded.

9. Voluntary support

The App is free. You may support the project via buycoffee.to/ibitroot. Support is a donation — voluntary, non-refundable and creates no additional claims.

10. Intellectual property

The App, code, the “ibitdrive” name, logo and graphics are copyright-protected and owned by the Provider (All rights reserved — see the LICENSE file). Use transfers no rights beyond personal use.

11. Termination and account deletion

The User may delete the Account anytime in the App or via radfur00@gmail.com. The Provider may suspend/delete an Account for material breach and discontinue the service for important reasons, with reasonable prior notice where possible.

12. Changes to the Terms

The Terms may change for important reasons. Material changes will be announced in the App or by email; continued use constitutes acceptance.

13. Complaints and governing law

Complaints: radfur00@gmail.com. Matters not covered are governed by Polish law; these Terms do not limit mandatory consumer rights.
